Meet the experts
John Rikhtegar is the Head of eCommerce Revenue at VaynerMedia, for their London division. After helping Shopify Plus scale out their enterprise offering in 2017, John brought his eCommerce expertise to VaynerMedia, now having the ability to work with brands on crafting innovative growth strategies that are built for the now. John proudly holds a degree from the Ivey Business School (HBA), in London, Ontario, Canada.
David has been with GFS for 5 Years and is responsible for their International Growth strategy and pioneering the development of the unique GFS International proposition. Prior to this, David has held senior Sales and Logistic roles with companies ranging from global market leaders to starts-ups, and shares over 20 years of Global Sales and International supply chain expertise.
Sacha's team helps businesses of all size automate the complexities of global tax compliance. His background is in business development and ecommerce spanning 20 years and covers blue-chips such as Amazon and Arcelor-Mittal as well as several dotcom start-ups. During 11 years at Amazon he launched and grew programmes including Amazon’s Marketplace, Fulfilment by Amazon, Amazon Pay and Product Ads.
Darryn provides competitive market analyses and site-selection assistance to eCommerce companies looking to expand or relocate to the US West Coast. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Darryn received his bachelor’s degree as well as his master’s degree in public policy and applied economics from The Johns Hopkins University, where he was a Bill and Melinda Gates Millennium Scholar.
Hannah has extensive knowledge of international sales, executive management, licensing and commercial markets in the retail, wholesale and travel retail business across luxury brands, apparel, watches, jewellery, home wares and F&B, within the key markets of the UK, Europe, USA, Caribbean and the Far East. Projects include work for Laura Ashley, Mulberry, The Gap, Swatch Group, Fortnum&Mason, Liberty London and Whittard of Chelsea.

Lorna joined GS1 UK in December 2016 with a role to increase value to GS1 members and help drive the strategy by engaging with the stakeholders that sit within the marketplace landscape and to look at ways we can tackle their pain points to facilitate more friction-free trading. Lorna's background is in retail working for global retailers Mothercare and Early Learning Centre, Boohoo.com and most recently Dune London.
Mark is a Cambridge University History graduate with over 25 years’ director-level experience in marketing and consultancy in the UK and internationally. Past clients include Reuters, Safeway, Dixons, Microsoft, Royal Mail, The UK Driving Standards Agency, International Student Identity Card and Sony. More recently Mark has worked with UK trade bodies like the Department of International Trade, The Mayor of London’s International Business Programme, techUK and US digital marketing agency Lucid Fusion.
Ian is a serial entrepreneur with significant international experience in internet, technology and hi-tech industries, working for start-ups, SMEs and large corporates including the launch of a leading eCommerce platform. In his career, he has started six companies, managed multiple fund raises, two acquisitions, a merger, three JVs, an MBI, two £100m+ corporate ventures, a disposal and an exit.
