London, 15 November: A new transatlantic UK/US commercial trade deal has just been signed between Frazier & Deeter UK LLP (FD), part of a leading US accounting and advisory firm, and GTM Global Limited (GTM), a UK-based organisation that engages with ambitious UK tech and digital scale-up companies to help them expand internationally.

This new commercial collaboration connects, via a programme of content, advisory FDI services and virtual events, a substantial US-wide network of FD accounting practices and a GTM community of 300+ government, trade, and commercial partners plus the 6000+ scale-ups already supported through the programme missions.

A Smarter Way into the USA

The need for this programme is amply demonstrated in a recent survey from the Scale-up Institute, which shows that 58% of UK founders are now looking for a smarter way to land and expand into lucrative digital and technology markets like the USA.

This new partnership will provide critical support for tech scale-up organisations, empowering them to achieve greater success in the US and globally, by providing virtual connectivity and curated 1-2-1 solutions to meet their go-to-market needs.

Interested founders will now be able to connect from their office chairs with regulatory experts, commercial partners, funders, economic development boards, universities, and accelerator programmes, thus optimising qualified leads and making any subsequent US business travel meaningful!

Unique Ecosystem

With a presence in both the UK and the US, FD can provide unparalleled seamless services ‘across the pond’, supporting companies at every stage of their growth journeys.

Meanwhile, GTM’s unique ecosystem of government, trade and selected commercial partners delivers a holistic and collaborative approach to support tech scale-ups on their growth and internationalisation journeys.

FD and GTM have already established substantial interest from 500+ UK and EU life sciences companies in expanding to the US (and will both continue to grow this sector) and developing programmes for net-zero, smart infrastructure, aerospace, and defence.
