Innovation is at the heart of Impli. Founded in 2019 it is a high-growth UK med-tech company, spun out of the Imperial White City campus. Impli builds and develops smart implants for real-time home monitoring. Focusing initially on the female fertility space the business creates a safer, more effective, and convenient IVF treatment hormone levels in real time.

Impli’s CEO, Anna Luisa Schaffgotsch, has bold plans for growth with a focus on the huge opportunities in the US in IVF. She is about to jet off to San Francisco for a major fundraiser to both complete validation via animal trails and build a go-to-market capability there.

Poised for Greatness – with critical innovation, investment, and support from the shores of Lake Geneva

There’s no doubt Impli are poised for greatness, and this innate confidence comes both from their London base, and the team at Imperial, plus the manufacturing capacity, expertise, and research partners that they are working in the Vaud region, on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland.

“The Vaud region has been massively important to us”, says Anna Luisa. “We couldn’t have done it without our Swiss production base. We have been in the Vaud for over three years now and have developed a unique manufacturing capability, been able to share ideas with some other amazing start-ups, find funds, and access an ecosystem that really nurtures innovation. The hubs in the region are pivotal in our success to date and our growth plans for the future, especially through the accelerator schemes with EPFL and Biopôle in Lausanne.”
