Access Key Government, Tech and Defence Clusters

Fairfax is known for its defence and security companies. Leading British companies such as Sophos (cyber-security), Serco (government services) and BAE Systems (defence) have North American headquarters there. It is also a hub for I.T. and telecommunications, which includes a large UK presence including Inmarsat, FDM and Intercede.

Recently Fairfax has seen a boom in life sciences with innovative UK start-ups such as Re:Cognition Health choosing Fairfax to launch their North American operations, adding to the rapidly growing indigenous US start-up cluster.

Low Tax and Great Connectivity

Fairfax sits in the State of Virginia, as a result, it benefits from low corporate and personal taxes. While also having all the benefits of being part of the Washington Metro area, including rapid transit links into DC.

Tysons, its largest urban hub, has a diverse and vibrant international community and a great quality of life. Here you can find first class-schools, restaurants, cultural and leisure facilities.
